The meeting was organized again by Agrupación Quila Quina and the School of
Veterinary Medicine of the University of Río Cuarto (Province of Córdoba,
Argentina). Our Association sponsored this event and presented a work on
environmental legislation.

 RECREATIONAL ANGLERS NOW PROMOTE SHARK CATCH AND RELEASE
Professional recreational angler and fishing guide David Dau gave a
conference on shark catch and release methods. Already adopted by several
recreational fishing guides, catch and release is a favourable change in
shark exploitation, considering the high extinction risk of many shark
species in the SW Atlantic.
